Practice Events

Movie Day

Our Patient Appreciation Movie Day is an annual opportunity for us to thank our patients for being so great and to meet new friends.

This year’s event will be August 20. Guaranteed to be a good time for all!

Dental Hygienists Dinner

Annually, we invite local dental hygienists to a dinner and continuing education program. Dr. Lunsford shares the latest techniques and information in the orthodontic field with these dental professionals in a fun atmosphere. Everyone enjoys the camaraderie and gains valuable continuing education credits.

Contests

There is always something fun going on in our office. We have contests going at all times.

All new patients get a Lunsford T-shirt. And our current summer contest – posted on Facebook – is a Lunsford Around the Globe Contest! Patients are encouraged to post on Facebook a photo, like the one on the left, showing us that they wore their T-shirt when they went on vacation or even to the beach at home! Winners will be chosen in three categories: Most Creative, Most Humorous and Most Interesting Location. Each winner will receive a $100 gift card.

We frequently feature contests that reward and support our local schools and teachers. We at Lunsford Orthodontics believe in giving back to the wonderful communities in which we live.

CARE Programs – School Oral Hygiene Programs

Proper oral hygiene is a top priority for our practice. We not only educate our patients one-on-one about its importance, we also provide a CARE program where our patients under age 12 are presented information about oral hygiene in a fun environment. As well, we offer oral hygiene programs to school classes and health fairs throughout the school year.

Candy for the Troops

This annual practice event held around Halloween is a win-win for everyone. Our patients bring in candy and get tokens to be used for prizes; our deployed troops get the benefit of hundreds of pounds of candy sent to them, and our patients don’t have to worry about being tempted to eat all that candy!
