Metal Braces
Metal braces are the most common type. They are made of high grade stainless steel. Today's metal braces are smaller, more comfortable, and more attractive.

Frictionless Brackets
Our office also uses the newest state-of-the-art, frictionless bracket concept, which is a favorite of our adult patients.  This appliance design allows more rapid, but extremely gentle, biologically sound movement of teeth.

Ceramic Braces
Ceramic (clear) brackets are very popular with older teens and adults, due to their strong cosmetic appeal.

Today's braces let a lot more SMILE show through during orthodontic treatment. In addition, wires used today are also lighter and more comfortable. At certain points in a patient's treatment these new wires allow a longer time between appointments while the wires do their work in a gentle fashion. This longer time between appointments has been an added convenience to our patients who are happy to stretch out the time between visits to our office.
